Khalil Safari, head of Infectious Diseases Department (Health deputy of LarUMS), said: ” It has been several years that in the Larestan area some difficulties with follow-up, surveillance and periodic care including examination and care for their different age and sex groups, especially pregnant women have arisen as the result of nationals’ dispersal. It also has affected the health indicators of the Health deputy such as infant deaths or maternal deaths and has weakened the index. Thus, we took action through the Deputy of Health itself and through the Ministry of Health to establish an international health center to integrate nationals for care”.
Safari said: ” The center will be funded by the cooperation of Health Ministry. Part of the cost is provided by the Ministry and another part by the Larestan University of Medical Sciences through local benefactors and current resources”.
